Dr. Leonard Saulter

Dr. Leonard G. Saulter Jr., a lifelong resident of Maine, has been providing chiropractic care in the Falmouth area since 1982. His commitment to highly personalized care combined with his extensive education in the field has earned him recognition and admiration from both his peers and his patients.

Dr. Len graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine. He received his doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and was a member of the 1980 National Champions Rugby team.

​

Dr. Saulter has been recognized as a leader in the chiropractic industry at both the state and national level. In 2021, Dr Saulter was awarded as a “Champion of Chiropractic" by the MCA for his tireless efforts to support and promote chiropractic in the State of Maine. He has received the Maine Chiropractic Association’s Chiropractor of the year award as well as serving as the Association’s president and Vice President over many years.

A first for the country, Dr Saulter authored and co-authored the legislative bills necessary to enable patients to see a chiropractic doctor without a referral and to receive a fair reimbursement from insurance companies.

 

Dr. Saulter and his wife, Pam, raised their two children in Yarmouth, Maine and currently live in Freeport, enjoying three grandsons. He is a USSA certified ski racing coach and has assisted the middle and high school ski programs. He continues coaching for the Carrabassett Valley Ski Academy at Sugarloaf. When he isn’t in the office, Dr Saulter can be found enjoying the outdoors with friends and family, boating on Casco Bay, biking, fishing, hiking, growing pollinator-friendly gardens and beekeeping.
